So many of our friends, whom we have not seen or communicated with for many years, when we meet will immediately ask:  "What are you doing now?"  Many have said; "It is time to communicate again to all your friends, because your many friends are curious to know what you're up to."

Since the spring of this year I have been working with 4-6 community pastors who have asked me to work with them to help transform their respective neighborhoods, just as West Dallas Community Church has been successful in doing, beginning in the eighties in our neighborhood of Lake West.  This specific initiative is called The Shalom Project.  The mission of Shalom is to serve the community by mobilizing the Church to leverage its rich human and financial resources to transform the distressed neighborhoods of West Dallas through the local Church.
